Engineering Admission – Eligibility Criteria

For a Bachelor’s Degree (Undergraduate Degree)
Candidates must have a minimum of 55% on their latest qualifying 10+2 exam.
They must have completed 10+2 with science as their stream and subjects such as math, physics, and chemistry from a recognised board.
Many universities have an entrance exam to give admission to engineering courses, while others offer a merit base or cut-off to be qualified for the course study.
For Postgraduate Degree

Admission Process of Top Engineering for Colleges in Pune
Admission in engineering courses can be considered at various stages of education, like – UG, PG, diploma level, etc., For admission in any of the available engineering education levels, there are certain eligibility criteria that the students need to fulfil.
UG engineering degree: To get admitted in BE or B.Tech degree at any college, reputed or not, candidates must have completed their 10+2 exams in science stream with the three mandatory subjects – Physics, Maths and Chemistry. Also, another term is that the candidate must have obtained a minimum aggregate percent in the exams.
PG engineering degree: To get admitted in the next strata of education after UG degree, that is, in ME or M.Tech course, the condition is that students must have finished or passed their B.Tech exams and have secured a valid score in the GATE entrance exam.
UG Diploma in engineering: Applicants need to have finished their class 10 board exams with a minimum of 35 percent in two subjects – science and maths.
PG Diploma in engineering: There are only a handful of institutes that offer PG Diploma degrees. The eligibility criteria for admission are similar to that of M.Tech.
