What is MHT-CET 2022?
The MHT-CET 2022 or maha cet 2022 is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam: Engineering and Pharmacy
MHT-CET-2022 Entrance Examination for Admission to Professional Courses in Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy, and Agricultural Education through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for the academic year 2022-23 will be held at various examination centers throughout Maharashtra State and outside Maharashtra State.
- FOR Admission to First Year of Four-Year Full-Time Degree Courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy AND First Year of Six Year Full-Time Degree Course in Pharm.D.
- (For Academic Year 2022-23)
- MHT-CET-2022 facilitates admission to Professional Courses in Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy, and Agricultural Education in colleges of Maharashtra.
- MHT-CET-2022 includes Engineering/Technology (B.E./B. Tech), Pharmacy (B. Pharm/Pharm. D.), Agriculture& Allied Courses/ Fisheries Science/ Dairy Technology.

Eligibility Criteria for MHT-CET
Age:
At the time of admission, you must be 17 years old on or before December 31st of the previous year.
- The age limit is 25 years for a general category candidate.
- The age limit for SC and ST category student is 30 years.
Subjects:
- Compulsory subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
- Score in the 12th standard or equivalent examination: To be considered for the general category, you must have scored a minimum of 50% in your 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- You must have scored a minimum of 45 % as a SC, ST, or OBC candidate.
Education:
You must have completed or been studying to complete your 12th class or equivalent examination.
Number of attempts: MHT-CET can only be attempted 3 times.
Domicile Certificate: Domicile You must have a Maharashtra domicile certificate.
Candidature Type:
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature: Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type i.e. from Type A to E.

(3) Minority Candidature: The Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.
Eligibility Criterion for First Year – Engineering / Technology
Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions
- Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State), in the above subjects taken together; and the Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority;
or
(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State);
(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET;
or
(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State );
(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries and Foreign National Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
Eligibility Criterion for First Year – Pharmacy

- Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. - All India Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
(iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in - NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries and Foreign National Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
First Year – Pharm D.
Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates, –
- The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
or
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);
(iii) The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtained non zero score in the CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
(2) All India Candidature Candidates, –
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
or
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);

MHT-CET Registration:
Application Form for MHT-CET 2022 will be filled through Online Mode only. The Information Brochure for MHT-CET 2022 and the User Manual for filling up the online application form 7 is available on web site mhtcet2022.mahacet.org Candidate is advised to download and print the user manual for filling up the online application form. For submission of online application form the
candidates should login at mhtcet2022.mahacet.org in website. The detailed procedure for online submission of application form is given in the user manual. Please quote your Application no. in all
future correspondence with State CET Cell Office.
You must complete the following steps to register:
Step 1. Fill out the registration form on the official website.
Step 2. Fill up your personal information on the form.
Step 3. Upload your photo with your signature.
Step 4. Pay the application cost via the internet.
Step 5. After that, you’ll be directed to a confirmation page. Make a copy of the document for future use.

Attention (Must Read):
- This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- If the candidate opted for only PCM or only PCB in General Category, he/she will have to pay Rs 800/- and for Reserve Category candidate from state of Maharashtra he/she will have to pay Rs. 600/- as a MHT CET 2022 examination fee. If the candidate opted for both the groupse. PCM and PCB then for General Category, he/she will have to pay Rs.1,600/- and for Reserve Category candidate from the State of Maharashtra he/she will have to pay Rs.1,200 as a MHT CET 2022 examination fee.
- Candidates will be required to submit the Caste Certificate and Caste Validity and Non Creamy Layer Certificate, if applicable, at the Time of filling in CAP Application Form to be considered under the Category.
- Late fees is 500 for any category (Eg: For general category 800+500 = 1300)
